Is it safe to remote reboot the CCGX with CANBus batteries?

Hi Victron team.. DPA Solar has a number of customer/installers with their systems on VRM. One off-grid 8kVA Quattro, BYD, Fronius,MPPT etc and had been running well. About a week ago the Fronius was lost off the CCGX and reporting of load is no longer all shown on the CCGX. The installer reported that several days before he had reconfigured the MPPT ve direct USB cable because of length and or some other reason, which may or may not be related.

As we're going through trouble shooting steps, our question to you is - Is it safe to remotely Reboot the CCGX or is there a risk that the BYD comms could be lost etc and the system may shut down?

Thanks

David

You can safely reboot the CCGX.

There is no risk, the time out is at LEAST 10 minutes, and will also wake up again as soon as MPPT puts power on the DC bus.
