Data consumption comparaison Color Control

Good morning,

we are challenging some big data consumption on our differents sites.

I have found the Q18 : What is the data usage of the Color Control GX, but it does not answer all my question.

We have 2 differents type of site :

Model A : Color Control GX + QUattro 48/15000 + BMV-702 + Blue solar Charger MPPT 150/85

Model B : Colo Control GX + QUattro 48/15000 + PV Inverter Fronius Symo 12.5-3M

On our side, the consumption of data between our 2 models is more then X2 and we would like to understand if it can be link to our Victron technology , as the site is not synchronizing regularly due to our lack of data.

Second question : Firmware update mentionned in the Q18 ; how can we be awarded of those update and weight in MB ?

More components mean more data, also of course the VRM loggin interval makes a difference.

Lastly: mobile providers often have a minimal block size for charging you, where they might count 0,1 MB when you only send a few bytes on each connection.

Also: enabling MQTT can greatly increase the data used.
