ESS backup for a full house when power outage

A customer wants to have his PV installation working ok and have electricity in his entire house, even if a power outage occurs.

I am planning to connect the mains to the AC-in and all the distribution board to the AC-out of a well dimensioned MultiPlus-II. Also install PV panels, MPPT, BYD battery, Venus GX and an energy meter.

Will this ESS system provide backup and normal performance even in the event of a power outage?

I am not sure all Victron devices will continue working with no grid power, but with sunlight and energy in the battery.

Thank you!

So long as your system is sized correctly, it will work.

So, im trying to accomplish a similar scenario .

I have the Multi (AC-IN) fed from the grid and AC-OUT-1 to the DB . Currently if the grid fails the Multi takes over.

Now with ESS im hoping to achieve :

Primary power from the PV or Batteries

Should the PV or batteries not enough th

Use the Grid .

Im still reading up on ESS "Self-comsumption Hub-1"
