Low voltage disconnect needed with BMV-712

I am installing a lithium battery in my van, using a Redarc dual charger and a Victron BMV-712 monitor. According to the Redarc manual, I need to install a low-voltage disconnect. Does the BMV-712 provide that function, or do I need to install a separate low-voltage disconnect?

Hi @PaulJeffrey

What kind of lithium battery are you using? (brand / type)

BMV-712 can be configured to trigger a low voltage disconnect, but you will need an external relay (controlled by the BMV-712) to perform the actual disconnect.
