Voltage sensing on MultiPlus Compact Inverter/Charger 12/2000/80 ?

Can the MultiPlus Compact Inverter/Charger 12/2000/80 use voltage sense data from the Bluetooth Smart Battery Sense module? According to the manual, the unit does not have V-sense terminals (unlike the larger Multiplus 12/3000/120).

In other words, can the battery voltage reported by the Smart Battery Sense module be used by the Compact 12/2000/80 via VE Network?

From the manual for the VE.Bus Smart Dongle it appears that it can send on-battery voltage and temperature to MultiPlus chargers, specifically Multiplus-II chargers.

Does this include MultiPlus Compact chargers, as well?

When used with Multi- inverter/chargers the dongle provides on-battery temperature and voltage sensing capabilities - allowing compensation for possible cable losses which can occur during charging and discharging. Temperature sensing allows accurate temperature-compensation during battery charge cycles. The dongle is, at present, the only way to add an “on-battery” sensing capability to the MultiPlus-II models, if they are not also connected to a Venus-device and CANbus battery

Smart battery sense will not work as the MultiPlus Compact has no Bluetooth interface but a VE.Bus Smart Dongle connected to a VE.Bus RJ45 socket will provide both temperature and voltage, providing your MultiPlus Compact is running version 419 or newer firmware.
