No data alarm - lost connection to VRM. FW version is 2.31 on Venus GX

Hello team,

I have this alarm today and there is internet connection in the premises. Device is connected via wifi. Will get local connection to reboot. Anyone else having connectivity issues with Venus GX connected via wifi on fw ver 2.31?

Hello team,

Managed to do a recovery using the following steps.

Cold reboot - did not work.
Connected via LAN - got the Venus IP allocated 169.254.x.y
Went to wifi page, connection failure, password "forgotten"
Password entered. I had never had to do this since the first setup.
Connection came up
no data alarm cleared.

Hopefully it will not be a recurrent issue as password should be persistent.

Incorrect or failed password can be false error code when the wifi signal is not strong enough.

Is there a way to improve the wifi signal reliability to rule that out?

Hi @Guy Stewart (Victron Energy Staff) The signal strength is decent as the devices are fixed and there is no movement. I will continue monitoring for any unusual fluctuations.
