Blue Smart ip65 charger recond mode

In recond mode battery voltage 14.4 V.Not higher.

I thought it will be around 16 V.

Is my charger faulty?

Hi @cmos, welcome to community!

The charger will only increase the voltage once the charge current has dropped to an acceptable level (ie. when the battery has been sufficiently charged to start reconditioning). See the manual for the actual levels.

It might help yes. It depends on the size of the battery too.

I made already 5 cycles of charging and see no 16 V, only 14.4.

Charger 4amps. Battery bosch 45 Ah.

Don't know what to do((

The charger can only reach this voltage when the battery is so weak it can actually reach 16V with 4A
Just be happy it doesn't, it would be a battery in bad shape if id did.

But in manual :16 volts needs to equalise the cells.

And I know that for Ca/Ca batteries 16 volts needs for prevent acid stratification.

And I can't turn on this mode.

I will try discharge battery to 11.8-12 volts and will see what happens))

I thought if recond mode is selected, battery voltage will be around 16 V after abs stage. But nothing changed.LED recond blinking but voltage 14.4 and 0.5 amps.Restart cycles twice.

(Sorry for my bad English)
