Help with first time Off Grid 3 phase

Hi

I am planing an installation with 3 Multiplus 48/5000 off grid in 3 phase. I will like to get an assistance on how to use Ve configure to set up the configuration needed.

This is my first time on such configuration so please be patient with me.

This would normally be done with the help of a Trained Victron Tech by your dealer. This is highly recommended.

however, we can try and help if you can layout the configuration that you are looking to achieve, and a wiring diagram of the proposed installation would also be helpful.

are you connecting solar and how

what loads are you connecting etc

What size generator is connected

Loads is 8KW

Please start by reading all the manuals, and finding someone experienced with large Victron installations to help with the installation. + check the system diagram by your Victron distributor / installer.

If something in the manuals is unclear, you can ask here for help.

connected to 275W X 27 in 9 string with 3 MPPT 150/45

No generator

For the load I don't have it yet.

so what kind of a system? grid connected?

I would never advice 12V VRLA batteries for a big system and the total usable capacity is very small (about 15 kWh).

Please read the community guidelines, and please hire a Victron specialist to help you with your system. Do you have experience with single phase Victorn systems?

I have taken your advice and I have seen a guy who is familiar to this type of installation and he is going to help. I will be posting the results here so I will have your advice too.

No it is not grid connected. It's an isolated site so it's going to be mainly on solar.

I have an exact same system( with Quattros ) but running in ESS with BYD 10 KWH /10 KW batteries as for off-grid setup you will need 15 KW/50 = 300 Amp ( ignoring efficiencies)capable battery system at C10 rate that is 3000 AH battery bank ( or 6000 AH for C20 rate) anything smaller and your battery bank will require frequent replacement and will not last

e.g. a Panasonic VRLA-SLA LC-P12200 will give 200 AH at C20 but give only 169 AH at C3

The load will 7KWH maximum 5 hours daily.
